Rose water smoothie
This sweet and creamy fruit, rose water + vanilla smoothie is the perfect treat to enjoy on a summer day. You can add any fruit of choice. We used peach here, and also love strawberries!
Lately I've been on a rose kick. I often find I'll find an edible flower and obsess over it for a while. First it was geranium, then it was lavender and now, roses. Every recipe from me has been roses lately and I don't see an end in sight. I have a list of twenty rose recipe ideas I want to create and perfect and share with you here.

Are roses edible?
Yes they are! We have many edible flower recipes here on frolic and fare. It's best to use organic roses in recipes. We use rose water in this smoothie. Make your own at home with my diy rose water recipe, or grab a bottle from the store. Be sure it's food grade rose water, and not meant for cosmetics. If you're curious about growing your own edible flowers, read my post here: Edible flowers to grow or Where to find edible flowers.
