Rose sugar recipe for tea, cake and splendor by recipes and rituals

Jan 2, 2021 · Leave a Comment

Rose sugar is a beautiful addition to any and everything that calls for sugar as an ingredient. You can simply grind up your rose petals with your sugar in your mortar and pestle, or put them in your food processor for a finer powder. I adore rose sugar in my cakes and tea.

  • Place dried rose petals into your mortar and pestle
  • Grind lightly with your pestle
  • Slowly add your sugar in, continue to grind
  • Transfer to a jar of choice with an airtight lid.

Some other ideas for your rose sugar are:

Add rose sugar to your favorite sugar scrub for exfoliation. I recommend adding it to our pink grapefruit + rosemary scrub.

Add it to lemonade for a beautiful floral alternative to lavender. We recommend adding it to either wildflower dandelion lemonade or pink peach basil.

Sprinkle it into your iced rose green tea.

Use it in Peaches + Buttercream cake: peach and honey cake with strawberry buttercream

The possibilities are endless!
