Rose water lemonade

Sweet, fragrant and floral rose water lemonade will be your new favorite way to enjoy this classic spring and summer drink. Not only is it delicious, making your own from scratch is super simple, elegant and perfect for entertaining, or enjoying a soothing treat after tending to your garden. Make it fresh after making your own rose water at home.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups water
  • 1 cup of rose water
  • ½ cup sugar or honey more to taste
  • about 8 large lemons squeezed
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Squeeze all of your lemons into a pitcher or large jar. Strain out any pulp or seeds.
  • Add in your sweetener of choice
  • Boil two cups of water. You need hot water to dissolve the sugar for perfect lemonade, so don't skip this step!
  • Add your boiling water into your sugar and lemon juice mixture, and then your remaining water.
  • Once it cools slightly, add your one cup of rose water and the remaining cups of water to your pitcher, stir
  • Serve over ice or floral ice cubes and enjoy!

Notes

Store covered in the refridgerator for up to one week.
