Cocktail:
2ouncesvodkaor gin
4ouncesgrapefruit juice
2ouncesJasmine simple syrup
Grapefruit wedge for garnish
Instructions
To make jasmine syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium/high heat, heat the water, sugar, and flowers until it comes to a simmer. Stir to dissolve the sugar and continue simmering gently for 5 minutes, reduce heat and let simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the liquid cool. Lastly, strain the liquid from the flowers into a jar with a fine mesh sieve and store in a container with an airtight lid.
2. To make cocktail:
Squeeze your grapefruit into your cocktail shaker Add in your jasmine syrup Add in your vodka or gin Shake well Pour over a glass with ice Garnish with grapefruit wedge or jasmine flower
