½cupfresh butterfly pea flowers OR ½ cup dried butterfly pea flowers
COCKTAIL:
2ozvodka or gin
1ozbutterfly pea flower simple syrup
splash of tonic or sparkling water
2ozrose or lavender lemonade
Instructions
Make your butterfly pea flower syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium/high heat, heat the water, sugar, and butterfly pea flowers until it comes to a simmer.
Stir to dissolve the sugar and continue simmering gently for 5 minutes, reduce heat and let simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the liquid cool. Lastly, strain into a sterilized jar (with an airtight lid)
Make cocktail:
In a tall glass of choice, add ice
Pour in your simple syrup and lemonade and top off with sparkling water of choice
Stir & Serve immediately
