Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 large carrots chopped
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 6 cups healing bone broth
  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place a large dutch oven or pot over medium high heat and add in oil. Once oil is hot, add in garlic and ginger, cook for a minute.
  • Next, add in two tablespoons of butter, onions, carrots, celery, and your bell pepper.
  • Add salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  • Add in your broth and bring soup to a boil.
  • Add in your sweet potatoes and chicken and fresh herbs.
  • Add a cover to pot and reduce the temperature to let the soup simmer for twenty minutes to allow the potatoes to soften.
