Why this magical spicy turmeric ginger apple cider vinegar drink is the superior morning drink!

I don't know about you, but I start each and every morning with cofffeeee. Coffee is one of my non-negotiables in this life, and it's not going anywhere. But, I wanted to add in a healthier, mood, and sense boosting drink to start my day off right, BEFORE my coffee. Yes, hard to believe that I am adding in a new routine before coffee happens, but trust me on this one ... Turmeric + Ginger + Apple Cider Vinegar + Probiotic = worth the wait!

 

Why should make this drink

Tumeric + ginger are the primary flavors in this drink, added and well known for their holistic properties which assist in combating low-level inflammation, which is the primary driver behind every chronic Western disease. Ginger has many benefits, and is specifically used in this recipe for its ability to help lower the risk of infections. An internal cleanse, as ginger can inhibit the growth of different types of bacteria. In fact, ginger extract can inhibit the growth of many different types of bacteria, and may even be effective against respiratory infections. I love my coffee, but I don't think it can do all that.

If you've read my blog before, it's no secret I love raw apple cider vinegar. Is there anything it can't do? I use it on my hair, infused with oils to help me clean, and consumed in a fasted state (or right after waking up), ACV is believed to have some incredible health benefits. And this fermented apple component of our drink contains amino acid, potassium, magnesium, calcium, beta carotene, acid, enzymes, and pectin.

This time of year we become over-stressed and stimulated planning our holidays, start eating less than optimal comfort foods, and becoming subject to illness thanks to the two. Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon tumeric - grated root or powder
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 doppler full of Mary Ruth organic's probiotics
  • 8 oz warm or cold water
  • 2 oz apple cider vinegar
  • raw honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except water into glass or jar of choice
  2. Add water and mix right before drinking
  3. Enjoy!
