I wanted to treat these more like ice cream, because I wanted them to be extra rich and creamy. That's why I don't just blend all of the ingredients and place them in a popsicle mold. The extra step of heating and reducing them together makes a wonderful creamy popsicle. The fat content helps prevent them from getting too icy, like normal fruit popsicles occasionally do.

How to Store Homemade Popsicles

These homemade popsicles will keep well in the freezer. I recommend removing them from their mold, and placing a small piece of parchment or wax paper in between them. That way, they will stay fresh without sticking to each other. Alternatively, you can set them upright in an air tight storage bag, so that they're not stacked on top of each other. Popsicles are good for one month in the freezer.
