Chocolate lovers, this one is for us! A thick, creamy, cocoa hazelnut spread with only four ingredients, and full of healthy fats. The sweet honey + bitter of raw cocoa + rich hazelnut butter come together to make a perfect chocolate spread that you feel really good about.

Nutella is often marketed as part of a balanced breakfast spread. It’s ingredients are: sugar, vegetable oil, hazelnuts, skim milk powder, fat reduced cocoa powder, soy lecithin. A few things that we do our best to avoid in our house are: refined sugar, vegetable oil, low fat ingredients, dairy, and soy lecithin. Sadly, that is basically the entire contents of nutella.
In this recipe, I used premade hazelnut butter, however, if preferred, you can make your own and simply mix the other ingredients in this recipe while you blend the hazelnuts into nut butter.
I am enjoying this spread with fruit and homemade gluten free graham crackers. How do you like to enjoy nutella? I have a feeling I will have to restrain my kiddos from eating it directly out of the jar. š
